Colca Canyon is one of the deepest canyons in the world, and offers the special opportunity of seeing condors in their natural habitat.

At this point the canyon floor is 1,200 meters (3,960 feet) below the rim of the canyon. The deepest part of the canyon is 3,270 meters (10,725 feet).

 

The Andean Condor typically lives about 60-70 years, and has a wingspan of about 7-9 feet.
