This was the last stop of the trip: a day and night in Jaco, a surf town on the Pacific coast.

It's a surfer's dream spot. Unfortunately I am not a surfer.

The water of the Pacific was wavy, strong and dirty brown. It was an unwelcomed contrast to the Atlantic water of Honduras days before.

One of our last beers before saying goodbye.

Goodbye Costa Rica. Goodbye Central America!
