This city felt very different from the rest of our destinations. I did not care much for this place.
There were not too many rickshaws, but lots of traffic. When cars stopped at a red light, everybody would turn their engines off, until it turned green again!
The city did have some nice bridges.
Kolkata, or Calcutta, used to be the capital of India during the reign of the British.
The poverty was seen across the bridge, outside of the cosmopolitan city center.
This is the flower market, just beneath the Howrah Bridge.
My last meal with the Aussies. So long, mates. Almost time to fly back home.
Goodbye Kolkata. Goodbye India!!
