Asheville is a smaller city, in western North Carolina, surrounded by mountains. The city is loaded with older hippies, and tourists. It’s fun and hip. I enjoyed the cool vibe.
Asheville has a remarkable amount of well preserved Art Deco buildings.
Asheville is nestled within the Blue Ridge Mountains, which makes it easy to find great hiking trails, a short distance from town.
Catawba Falls was gorgeous. As always, pictures don’t do it justice.
Waffle House is good for the soul. No trip to the south would be complete without a visit!
