Colonial Williamsburg was once a living city, and the capital of Virginia from 1699-1780. It is now the largest outdoor educational living museum in the country.
It’s a pretty big town to walk around. There are about 80 original structures, and many rebuilds. It really does feel like the 18th century.
Weapons galore on display at the Governor’s Palace entry room.
