Going from a country of 6 million (Laos) to a country of 89 million is a culture shock. Hanoi was interesting but just felt overpopulated.

Had some pretty nasty rainfall unfortunately. Life still goes on.

This is the insane, crowded, super busy Old Quarter. Pictures don't do it justice.

My first meal in Vietnam. Pho, or beef noodle soup. I asked for tofu, she gave me beef. I asked for a water, she gave me a beer. Ah, the language barrier.
