Swakopmund is a sleepy coastal summer town. It was winter, so maybe that's why it was very sleepy.
We stayed in these bungalows, which was a nice break from tent living.
We did a township tour, visiting the less affluent part of town.
We visited a private school. The kids sang us a song which was very nice.
Local Namibian cuisine. There are some fried insects in there too. I tried it.
We even got a local choir performance. It was a fantastic tour.
Fried doughnuts!
Shipwreck! There have been many shipwrecks along the Skeleton Coast. This one has been stuck here for nearly a decade.
This is Cape Cross, which has a seal colony of 80K to 100K seals! It was unreal!
