
Takayama is a small town in the mountains. Aside from the beautiful nature and temples, tourists come here to walk the unspoiled Edo-period streets, lined with shops, museums, and eating places.
Hida beef is a speciality here. It was delicious.
I caught some really good live music.
These houses are part of a preserved traditional part of town. Get here early before the tourists mob the place!
